About Me

I am a last year PhD Candidate at McGill University (Canada), advised by Prof. Lili Wei, Prof. Shane McIntosh (University of Waterloo, Canada), and Prof. Dániel Varró (Linköping University, Sweden), working on software defect detection and automatic program repair, specifically focusing on emergent, low-resource software artifacts.

From August 2024 to March 2026, I was a full-time PhD research intern with the "Centre for Software Excellence" (directed by Prof. Ahmed E. Hassan) at HUAWEI Canada. During my internship I was involved in cutting-edge research for AI4SE and SE4AI topics, leading to two major publications in top-tier venues and also two patent applications.

Prior to my PhD, I completed my M.Sc. degree at the University of Manitoba (Canada) in 2020, where I was the front runner for the Governor General's Academic Gold Medal, and my B.Sc. degree at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2017, where I graduated with honors and as the Salutatorian.

My work has been published in top-tier venues including TSE, TOSEM, ASE, and SANER.
